The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) issued a news alert on Wednesday, May 3, 2017, informing stakeholders that the data entry process has been completed for all cases selected in the fiscal year 2018 (FY18) H1B lottery. The USCIS will now begin returning all cap-subject petitions that were not selected.
The USCIS further notes that some cap cases are being transferred from the Vermont Service Center to the California Service Center in order to balance workloads. If one’s case is transferred, the USCIS will send notification by mail to the petitioner and/or attorney of record.
