There is little-to-no movement of cutoff dates for the vast majority of categories in the September 2016 Visa Bulletin, which was released this afternoon by the U.S. Department of State (DOS). However, in the final action (FA) chart, the employment-based, second preference (EB2) and employment-based, third preference (EB3) categories for India advance by about three months, to February 22, 2005 and February 15, 2005, respectively. The only significant movement comes in EB3 for the Philippines, which vaults ahead by more than a year, to July 1, 2010.
